"Tung Fong is a must stop for me every time I'm in Kota Kinabalu. It’s about 15–20 minutes from the city center, but totally worth the drive. The food is always good, and the fish soup here is the absolute best. It is so fresh and flavorful. You can really taste the difference in the quality of the fish. Service is friendly and quick, which makes dining here even more enjoyable."

"First time trying “Sabah Noodles” it wow me, it has different taste that I’ve never tasted before. Their tomyum soup is very good too, taste wise meet the standard. Ginger onion fried fish fillet is really good as Sabah is famous for the seafood! Chilli is given as self services!"

"One of our go-to place for fish noodles in KK. Our must-order each visit is the braised grouper fish in dark soy sauce. Best part is the chewy and slighty crispy fish skin But I feel like the standard has dropped a bit taste-wise the last time we were there."

"This restaurant need to queue up before the Covid . Now every time I go is about half full but the food is as good as before, I wonder why . Parking can be a challenge as the surrounding is light industrial centre and always parking full or blocked for their shop entrance ."

"This place is quite famous for its tomyam soup & fried fish head mee hoon tomato/tom yam soup (portions are quite big & consistent - fried fish head portions, etc are weighed individually at the kitchen). Served-no-pork. Service ok & staffs are courteous. Food & drinks arrived quite fast. Price quite reasonable. Payment at the counter. Atmosphere - can be quite crowded & quite hot during lunch hours."
